Aren't these the cutest kids ever???? (I am not biased at all)
Brett thought it would be fun to sleep with Becks in a tent outside and Brock and his boys decided to do it too. To me that sounds crazy- sleep outside when you have a perfectly fine bed to sleep on inside??? Well Becks thought it was soooooo much fun!! Too bad I only got pictures the next day since I was asleep before they even headed outside. Yes, I go to bed at 9:30 whether we are at home or not.
Sunday morning Brett, Nat, Griffin and I all went for a hike up Baldy (Bald) Mountain. Does everyone call it Baldy or just our family?!? I didn't know it was actually Bald until we looked at a map. Nat and Brett had never done it before so we decided it was time. Grandma and Grandpa K, Brenda and Chloe watched Becks which made it much easier- THANKS!!
It was such a gorgeous hike. We didn't see any people the entire hike up until we met a dad and his son at the top. We didn't realize we had gotten an early start until we headed down and it was CROWDED!! Good thing kids don't let you sleep in.
We were hanging out on the porch when we heard some noise coming from the shed. My dad went to see what was going on and found Becks and Jace emptying out the toy box. He asked them why they were doing that and they said they really needed to wear the bike helmets so they could go play horseshoes and needed to turn the toy bin upside down to use it as a stool- sounds like a great plan to me.
After they were done with the helmets and horseshoes they decided they better climb on the car.
Nixon decided to join them.
Had to get a pic of Grandpa K with Griffin.
Throwing rocks in the river is a favorite activity at the cabin.
When throwing rocks gets boring you have to put your feet in the river.
When that gets boring you move on face/hair in the river.
Griffs stayed out of the water action and hung out with Brenda instead.
While we were throwing rocks Brett was fishing.
Lucky for us he caught a fish right by us.
All of the boys had to see it up close and touch it.
Pretty big catch for the river.
The boys are good at running down the hill but the way up usually looks like this.
Monday morning Grandpa K rented a 4-wheeler so we took turns riding around. Don't worry I didn't take Griffs we just had to get in on the picture.
Another fun weekend at the cabin!!
